About Me

I'm Gabriell Itima

I spent many days standing in my classroom, frustration rising as I watched bright students struggle against a system that wasn't built for them. Most days I attempted to suppress that feeling. But one day, I decided to listen to it instead and ask myself,

"What is this feeling trying to teach me?"

That question changed everything for me. When I leaned into my frustrations about education gaps for Black and Brown students, I created The Innovative Learners—a national education agency that's helped hundreds of students and professionals become confident learners and leaders.

I'm here to help others do the same—

to show educators, students, and emerging leaders how to recognize daily challenges as invitations to create meaningful change. Because when we honor our feelings as messengers rather than obstacles, we discover innovative solutions that transform classrooms, campuses, and communities.

Through my keynotes and workshops, I've empowered others to identify needs within their environments and build sustainable initiatives that address them.
